"Run Dorothy Run," Dorothy Brown Gets Jump Start in the Race for Mayor!
Chicago, IL -- December 11, 2006
The Honorable Dorothy Brown, Clerk of the Circuit Court, is getting a jump start from an upcoming fund-raiser. A Jazzy, Holiday Event is scheduled, in honor of Dorothy Brown, to assist her as she takes her place in the race for Mayor of Chicago.

The event will take place at the newest addition to Chicago's Jazz Club Scene, Close Up 2. This very classy and upscale club boasts an eclectic decor and is a new home for Smooth Jazz Artists. Guest attending this event will have the pleasure of experiencing the Smooth Sounds of Saxophonist, Audley Reid accompanied by a live band. There will also be a Silent Auction featuring authentic African Art from Zulu Images.

This holiday fund-raising event is expected to draw in more than 200 attendees who are residents of Chicago and its suburb. The event is scheduled for Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.. Close Up 2 is located at 416 South Clark, Chicago, IL. The suggested donation is $50.00 (Supporter), $100 - 499 (VIP), and $500 and up (Sponsor). Checks should be made out to; the friends of Dorothy Brown
